I have to say that, since I've started blogging, I read far more widely from newspaper websites around the world - and usually for free.
But I also buy a newspaper almost every day. Why? Because flicking through the pages of a newspaper is the quickest and most effective way I've found to keep a eye on lots of stories at the same time, and to rank their relative importance. (The number of column inches dedicated to a particular story is very difficult to judge on the net, but can be ascertained at a glance using a real newspaper).
Plus, there's something very comforting about the feel of a newspaper, and of having to wash one's hands after reading...
